Propolis

Propolis is a sticky substance that bees collect from various plants, which they enrich with wax, pollen, ferments and other substances and use in order to slickly line and disinfect the interior of their nest.

It is named propolis because bees place it in front of the entrance (to the city) so as to narrow and prevent the entry of various enemies such as mice, big butterflies and other insects to the nest.
